Position Title: Corporate Executive Chef Reports To: District Manager Salary: $62,400 - $145,500 Other Forms of Compensation: Our Passion is Food! Job Summary
Working as an Executive Chef, you are responsible for overseeing all culinary functions for a dining account. You will manage and lead a team of associates and oversee all safety and sanitation as it pertains to the account. Additionally, as part of the culinary team, you will be responsible for the following: Key Responsibilities: Manages cost controls and controls expenditures for the account Preferred Qualifications: Culinary degree preferred Culinary Skills and Experience * Culinary Degree or Equivalent Experience: Formal training at a culinary school or extensive on-the-job experience. Formal culinary training or equivalent extensive professional experience. Knowledge or experience with diverse cuisines to reflect global trends or corporate diversity. * Proven Track Record: Experience in leading kitchens, preferably in a multi-unit or high-volume operation. * Menu Development: Expertise in creating diverse, innovative, and nutritionally balanced menus tailored to client preferences. * Food Safety Certifications: Knowledge of HACCP, ServSafe certification, or similar. Management and Leadership * Team Leadership: Ability to recruit, train, and manage large teams of chefs and kitchen staff across multiple locations. * Multi-Unit Management: Experience overseeing multiple sites, ensuring consistency in food quality and service standards. * Conflict Resolution: Skills to handle interpersonal and operational challenges effectively. Fostering a positive work environment. * Mentorship: Developing staff and fostering growth within the organization. Operational Expertise * Budget Management: Ability to manage costs, including labor, food, and operational expenses. * Inventory and Supply Chain: Strong understanding of purchasing, inventory control, and vendor relations. * Process Optimization: Ability to implement and improve systems for efficiency across units.
