GIS Analyst

The GIS Analyst will support operations by maintaining and analyzing geospatial data, assisting in the management of GIS-related projects, and reviewing and reconciling work orders.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

• Update and maintain GIS databases, including asset locations, pipeline networks, and attribute data.
• Verify and validate the accuracy of geospatial data from field teams, contractors, and other sources.
• Perform spatial analyses to support decision-making.
• Collaborate with engineering, operations, compliance, close-out, and contractors to provide GIS insights and solutions.
• Ensure geospatial data meets company standards and regulatory requirements.

SECONDARY DUTIES:

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

• Proficiency in GIS software (ESRI ArcGIS Pro, ArcMAP).
• Basic understanding of spatial data formats and coordinate systems.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD or other CAD software is desirable but not required.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and work independently or as a part of a team.
• Strong organizational skills and a commitment to maintaining data integrity.

EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree in GIS, Computer Science, Information Technology preferred but not required.
• Valid driver's license and ability to drive Company Vehicles.

WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee must be able to:
• Perform sedentary work- exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally, and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body.
• Operate computer systems.
• See, hear, talk, and perform tasks requiring manual dexterity and visual acuity.
