HOW YOU'LL HELP DRIVE THE FUTURE OF NATURAL GAS: At Peoples Gas System, we are seeking a committed and innovative Director of Safety Management Systems to lead our Safety team. This role is pivotal in ensuring that the vision, mission, and goals of the corporation are realized collaboratively and effectively, with a focus on standardizing safety and compliance programs across the PGS system. This senior leader will oversee the development and administration of the company's Safety Management Systems in alignment with both Emera's directives and the American Petroleum Institute's Recommended Practice 1173. Responsibilities include risk management, quality assurance, and all other elements integral to the PGS Safety Management System. Additionally, this role encompasses the development of safety programs for team members and contractor safety management. WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED:
