Your job duties: Rooming patients, checking vitals, assisting with procedures Clinic prep assisting with Provider specific protocols Maintains a clean, organized, and safe environment Organizes and performs patient care services that support the physician's practice Relaying instructions from the physician to the patient or authorized person Collecting patient data in person and by phone Documenting patient concerns, messages and care provided in the electronic medical record for the physician's review Administering medications specifically directed by the physician Scheduling of appointments and procedures Complete and accurate message taking Routing messages to the appropriate area for direction Order and referral entry, acquisition of pre-certifications Setting up of cases in EPIC plus basic registration and updating of demographics #LI-JP1 Qualifications Required Education/Experience/Specialized Skills: Completion of a formal Medical Assistant Program, or Medical Assistance Certification, or a minimum of two years of experience as a military corpsman Required Certification/Registration: BLS required in clinical setting for the Healthcare Provider by the American Heart Association (AHA) Preferred Education/Experience/Specialized Skills/Certification: One year of experience as a MA in an outpatient setting preferred Job : Clinical Support Primary Location : Northern San Diego County-DEL MAR-SCRIPPS CLINIC - DEL MAR Work Locations : SCRIPPS CLINIC - DEL MAR 12395 EL CAMINO REAL DEL MAR 92130 Organization : Scripps Clinic Job Posting : Dec 16, 2024, 4:10:50 PM Benefit Status : FT - FULL-TIME WITH BENEFITS Minimum Rate (USD) : 24.91 - Maximum Rate (USD) : 31.45 In compliance with the California Pay Transparency Act, Scripps Health posts the pay range for all jobs.
