Job Details Job Description Hospital Greeters welcome and assist patients, their families and visitors entering the hospital. Utilizing internal software, Greeters will register visitors and enforce relevant visitation policies and guidelines. Greeters answer questions, provide information such as patient floor and room number and direct people to the hospital location they need, thereby creating a caring and efficient atmosphere.Essential FunctionsMeets all standards of the Patient Satisfaction Initiative Criteria to make Jefferson Health the hospital of choice for Patients and Employees.Cordially greets visitors and patients upon arrival. Ascertains patients and visitors needs and directs them, accordingly, including visitor registrationScreens and registers visitors through the Security Visitor Management System and issue visitor passes accordinglyEnforces visitor restrictions, in accordance with visitor policies and procedures.Processes patients receiving "outpatient" services into the hospital, directing them to the appropriate locationEnforces Photo Identification Badge policy 200.30Contacts Public Safety, Environmental Services, or Facilities Management for assistance when necessary.Monitors overall appearance of the hospital entrance.Performs other related duties as assigned.Proficiency with computer-based softwareHigh school diploma or equivalent is preferred for Greeter applicants.Work Shift Rotating (United States of America)Worker Sub Type RegularPrimary Location Address 559 W.
