OverviewOur Cloud Investment Strategy team is seekinga Senior Finance Manager responsible for driving the financial evaluation of mission-related opportunities in support of Microsoft's work with theU.S. Intelligence Community, Department of Defense, Federal government, andtheirmissionpartners. The team's charter is to deliver mission solutions in partnership with the Strategic Missions and Technology team while driving down unit cost of capacity, ensuring mission solutions & cloud services achieve both profit and gross margin growth. As a crucial member of the team you'll also support long term bets to keep Microsoft Cloud ahead of competition, all while enhancing transparency into Microsoft investmentsandsafeguarding shareholder interests. This role will lead P&L management, controllership, and compliance for the government clouds. Core responsibilities will include business partnering with the US field teams, mission engineering partners, cloud engineering partners, the national security team, and corporate finance teams to deliver end-to-end financial assessments and communicate the investments, risks, and economics of potential opportunities.
