Summary of Position

This is a remote position responsible for the Pacific Northwest territory and can be located anywhere in the Pacific Northwest.



The Curium MSL program will primarily support Curium's newest and upcoming approved products but may be asked to provide reactive support of other maintenance of business products Curium manufactures in North America. This individual will be responsible for a region covering Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Montana, North Nevada and North California and should reside within the region as travel is required.

Essential Functions

  • Build and strengthen professional relationships with local/regional/national oncology and neuroendocrine/urology KOLs and with cancer centers of excellence and medical centers with therapeutic, SPECT, and PET capabilities.
  • Serve as a key clinical/scientific resource to these KOLs and specialists within these medical centers.
  • Foster and develop appropriate relationships with Urologists, Genitourinary Oncologists, Gastrointestinal Oncologists and Nuclear Medicine KOLs, especially those with specific interest in treatment and diagnosis of patients using therapeutic radiopharmaceuticals.
  • Maintain thorough and up-to-date knowledge of disease state, clinical information, and product data within the diagnostic and radiopharmaceutical arena.
  • Identify and develop speakers and advocates for the above focused products as appropriate.
  • Deliver clinical presentations to payer audiences and hospitals optimally achieving formulary status and uptake.
  • Identify opportunities to partner with KOLs and principal investigators on disease state and specific clinical trial initiatives.
  • Develop strategies and tactics to effectively communicate complex scientific information.
  • Ascertain critical industry intelligence through one-on-ones, group presentations and attendance at medical meetings and appropriately communicate information back to Curium's senior management. Support US Medical Affairs and Curium BioPharma with the facilitation of Investigator Initiated Studies (IISs) and other research initiatives.
  • Support medical education initiatives such as speaker development, advisory board support and serve as a resource to review materials for medical accuracy.
  • Maintain routine scientific engagement with the top 50 prostate and top ten Neuroendocrine Tumor KOLS within territory.
  • Maintain account plans for top Tier 1 accounts within territory
  • Upon product launch, provide technical support and training to field commercial and account teams.
  • Attend national and local congresses and meetings and as requested, provide medical and scientific booth support.
  • Adhere to and manage travel and local expenses to meet Curium policy.

Requirements

  • Clinical/science degree: MD, PharmD, PhD preferred. Advanced scientific degree (e.g., MS, MSN) required.
  • Three or more years of relevant industry MSL experience preferred.
  • Expertise within Oncology, Neuroendocrine Tumors and/or Prostate Cancer preferred.
  • Ability to integrate and work in cross-functional network.
  • Demonstrated project management ability.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (i.e. Excel, Word, PowerPoint, MS Teams, and SharePoint)
  • Proficiency with Veeva Systems or similar typical Medical Affairs software
  • Fluency (written and spoken) in English is mandatory



Working Conditions:



  • Ability to travel up to 70% (approx.10-12 overnights per month).
  • Valid driver's license.
  • May be required to work weekends and holidays to support.



Curium offers a comprehensive and competitive Total Rewards Package built on a pay-for-performance philosophy and designed to promote employee growth and success. The annual base salary for this role is $175,000 - $210,000. The base pay range reflects the target for new hire salaries where individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job related skills, experience and relevant education or training. This is the range that we in good faith anticipate relying on when setting wages for this position. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, which may also be modified in the future.
