We are thrilled to share an exciting opportunity with Grady Health System! We are looking for passionate and experienced clinical professionals to join our team as Advanced Clinical Nurse Educators in the following units:



  • Acute Care
  • Burn ICU
  • Intermediate Care
  • Dedicated Education Unit


Position Overview

As an Advanced Clinical Nurse Educator, you will play a critical role in ensuring compliance with policies and regulations, managing education and training programs, and developing goals that support the success of our departments. This position allows you to influence patient care, staff development, and system improvement across three key spheres: patient/family, staff nurses, and health organizations/systems.

Key Responsibilities



  • Provide clinical leadership and act as a role model for staff.
  • Plan, develop, implement, and evaluate educational programs and clinical experiences.
  • Serve as a resource for translating skills and knowledge into clinical practice.
  • Lead initiatives in direct patient care, mentoring, teaching, research, and performance improvement.


Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you should meet the following requirements:



  • Experience: Minimum of four years of clinical nursing experience.
  • Licensure: Current Georgia Registered Professional Nurse License.
  • Certifications:


    • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (required).
    • Certified AHA ECC Instructor - BLS (required within 6 months of hire).
    • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and/or Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification (desired).
