Professional Services Group is hiring for the position of Assistant Supervisor within our Intensive Aftercare Program, which encompasses several key services including In-Home Safety Services, Monitored Home Detention, Court Referral Diversion, and Electronic Monitoring.

In this role, you will assist in supervising a dedicated team of workers while directly engaging with families to address a wide range of challenges including safety concerns, parenting support, juvenile court and delinquency, liaising with residential treatment and/or juvenile detention, and access to services for mental health, education, and supportive resources. As the Assistant Supervisor, you will play a critical role in hiring and training staff, and managing a client caseload. Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills are essential, as you will work closely with clients, collaborate with community agencies, and ensure high-quality service delivery.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ASSISTANT SUPERVISOR:



  • Assist in the hiring, training, and supervision of program staff.
  • Coordinate staff schedules and weekend coverage.
  • Provide all the Essential Functions of the In-Home Safety Services/Intensive Aftercare Community Worker.
  • Interview and evaluate clients to complete intake process.
  • Evaluate youth and families for treatment needs and refer to appropriate resources.
  • Analyze client situations, capabilities and problems to determine services required to control safety threats.
  • Formulate, implement, evaluate and review safety assessments and plans.
  • Evaluate and determine necessary responses in de-escalating crisis situations with youth and families.
  • Safely transport clients as needed.


LOCATION: Kenosha, WI. Local travel is required to meet with clients within the home or other community spaces, with mileage reimbursement.

SCHEDULE: Full-time 40 hours per week. Monday-Friday between 8:00am-5:00pm and one evening shift per week 1:00-9:00pm. Rotating Saturdays.

SALARY: $24.00-25.00 per hour
REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must possess a valid Driver's License, personal automobile insurance, and reliable transportation on a daily basis.
  • Must have a Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Criminal Justice, or related.
  • 1-3 of of experience in direct service and case management is required.
