Job Overview:

Seeking a talented Maintenance & EHS Coordinator for its Ingersoll Rand Pump (IRP), MP Pump and Oberdorfer Pump (MPOB) Business Unit. The EHS Coordinator will provide effective coordination and administrative support for all environmental, health and safety requirements, in a fast paced manufacturing
environment. Including: organising statutory training, purchasing, stock control, data input, report writing, COSHH controls, occupational health, business continuity, visitor controls and a number of improvement projects.

Responsibilities:


  • Analyze proactive and reactive EHS data to recommend measures to reduce or eliminate industrial
    incidents and health hazards in compliance with OSHA, EPA, and Ingersoll Rand standards.


  • Assist management in conducting incident investigations for all injury, illness, property damage, and fire incidents.

  • Perform compliance reviews of regulatory programs, develop gap assessments and associated action plans for closure.

  • Develop compliance assurance plans to assist facility in meeting environmental goals.

  • Assist in preparation of mandated environmental reports (Form R, Tier II, Air Emissions, Chemical Usage, Analytical Sampling) and ensure timely receipt by the proper entity.

  • Track training programs to ensure compliance with regulatory and Ingersoll Rand mandated requirements. Utilize the Gensuite system to input monthly metrics as defined by our enterprise EHS team.

  • Assists in the assignment of work orders for maintenance employees; inspects work for completeness.

  • Specifies and orders repair parts as needed.

  • Efficiently perform the activities in the MRO parts storage area including ensuring the proper receipt and storage of MRO items.

  • Preparing shipping documents needed to send out parts for repair/return, including cores for parts.

  • Identifies critical assets and recommends/orders critical asset spare parts.

  • Works with cross functioning team of Engineers and Maintenance to implement new Assets on site.

  • Participates in the performance and monitoring of preventive maintenance measures.

  • Works with department managers and supervisors to understand when and how to make immediate or impromptu corrective actions to equipment or facilities as deemed necessary by that representative at that time.



Requirements:


  • High School Diploma or equivalent.

  • 3+ years of manufacturing
    experience


  • 3+ years of building and machine maintenance experience

  • 1+ years of general maintenance and repair

  • High level of organizational, multi-tasking and interpersonal skills

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Familiar with ISO standards and Good Manufacturing
    Practices.


  • Experience reading and interpreting prints and wiring diagrams



Core Competencies:


  • Experience in EHS or manufacturing
    coordination and administration


  • Planning and organizational skills

  • Well-developed interpersonal and written and oral communication skills

  • Strong analytical and administrative skills



Preferences:


  • CMMS experience

  • Forklift experience

  • Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic circuits, and heating/cooling systems



Travel & Work Arrangements/Requirements:

Onsite/In-person - Alsip, IL

The pay range for this role is $50,00-70,000. The pay range considers a wide range of factors that include a candidate's skills; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and geographic location.
