Is an internship passionate about changing the world's energy future intriguing? If so, we might have just the opportunity you're looking for! Reporting to the Controls Senior Manager, you will participate in research exploring potential for realizing detector circuits within FPGAs to validate behavior, identify potential data leaks, and guard against side-channel attacks. You will experiment with both detection and mitigation circuits and techniques. * Definition of FPGA I/O, resources, configuration * Implement FPGA IP blocks & soft-cores (CPU) * Development of custom FPGA logic via Verilog or VHDL * Interface FPGA & CPU via shared RAM and other resources (Xilinx Zynq platform) * Apply knowledge of digital and analog signal processing circuitry * Work in a lab environment with equipment, such as oscilloscopes, for data generation, data capture and signal processing. * Prototyping & Debugging This team works a 9x80 schedule onsite at our Cybercore facility in Idaho Falls, ID.
