Basic Function
HF Sinclair is seeking a operator in Artesia, NM, who will be responsible for the production and manufacturing of products, daily quality control activities associated with production, tracking and maintaining raw material inventories, meeting shipment and delivery schedules, receipt handling via truck and rail, following the facility housekeeping objectives, ensuring assets are properly maintained, and HollyFrontier EH & S policies are understood and followed under close and frequent supervision. A minimum of one to two years of relevant work experience as it pertains to the job duties listed above is required. Education Level
A minimum of a High school Diploma or equivalent is required. Required Skills
Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations and basic computer skills, mechanically inclined and ability to operate a forklift, tractor, and/or man-lift; basic knowledge, understanding, and ability to comply with all Federal, State, Local, and Company regulations, policies, guidelines, and procedures, including use of tools (hand tools and power tools) and other equipment such as shovels and rakes and operation(s) of forklift, tractor, or man-lift. Completed all required certifications and training for job level showing ability to perform basic tasks with no direct supervision, perform more complex tasks under direct supervision, and have completed the first year EH&S training. Basic reading and writing skills, and ability to effectively communicate with others, both written and verbal communication. Supervisory/Managerial Responsibility
None Work Conditions
Field-based. Petroleum refinery, warehouse/plant environment, out-of-doors environment, and driver-based environment including but not limited to chemicals, pressure vessels, tanks, rotating equipment, working in confined spaces, and exposure to the risk of electrical shock. Subject to temperatures and weather. Must be available to work a flexible schedule (e.g., overtime, weekends, and holidays, rotating shifts). Benefits
