Role Description:

The Business Development Intern will support initiatives to identify opportunities, build relationships, and drive growth in the advanced and additive manufacturing sectors. The intern will assist with market analysis, outreach strategies, and partnership development to support business expansion. This opportunity is ideal for juniors or seniors in college or university who are analytical, proactive, and eager to learn about business strategy and innovation.

Education:

Junior or senior in college/university pursuing a degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.

Key Requirements & Competencies:

  • Junior or senior in college/university pursuing a degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and research skills, with the ability to synthesize information into actionable insights.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Familiarity with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) is a plus.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple tasks.
  • Eagerness to learn about business development, strategy, and emerging technologies.
  • Self-starter with a proactive attitude and the ability to work independently.
  • Team-oriented, with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate across teams.
  • Passion for technology and innovation, with an interest in additive manufacturing and advanced manufacturing.

Physical Requirements:

* Frequent work at desk or computer

* Frequent verbal and written communication by phone/email/video/in-person

Time Requirements & Compensation:

  • Remote
  • 35 hours per week, May/June through August.
  • Compensation: $18.00/Hour
