Moog Military Aircraft Group is looking for an Inventory Planning and Control Analyst to join them. You will report to the Military Aircraft Group (AG) Materials Manager and will have an onsite work schedule in East Aurora, New York. You'll be responsible for the standard work related to the governance and control of Inventory policy, balancing supply and delivery requirements, with inventory costs, to optimize cash flow.

To be considered for the Inventory Planning and Control Analyst role, here's what you'll need to bring with you:

  • Four-year Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field combined with planning and organizing skills

  • 3 - 5 years in a role with an emphasis on Inventory Analysis or Statistical Data reporting experience

  • Experience conducting root cause analysis on variances to plan and corrective action is taken to ensure future compliance

  • Proficiency in the use of Enterprise Resource Planning and Material Requirements Planning systems

  • Proactive problem solving and resolution skills, with the ability to understand how changes made to planning parameters will impact delivery commitments to programs, including development, production, transfer and aftermarket programs

  • Excellent communication and influencing skills to drive behaviors, accountability, and cross-functional collaboration with respect to inventory management plans

  • Excel and pivot table experience presenting data to management and providing recommendations for multi-level Bill of Materials

* Industry and Discipline Certifications (APICS, CPM, PMP) preferred

As an Inventory Planning and Control Analyst, you will:

  • Monitor monthly KPIs and offer actionable insights to leadership and value streams, to course correct a variance to Plan.

  • Work closely with the Materials Team, Operations and Supply Chain in the identification of constraints and how these impact Inventory.

  • Establish as necessary, implement and monitor Inventory-Management processes to ensure on-time delivery, appropriate lead time with optimal inventory.

  • Manage and ensure planning parameters are accurate in the MRP system, PCAS, or other systems used to communicate materials management requirements.

  • Ensure processes/metrics are in place to alert personnel of potential or actual risks to inventory plan.

  • Work to ensure the advancement of technical knowledge and skills across Military Materials Management Team.

  • Lead and manage problem solving analysis, providing solution recommendations, and troubleshooting across purchased and manufactured parts.

  • Coordinate information flow and communication within the site. Recognize significant problems that cannot be resolved through normal actions and elevate notice within the site to mitigate risk and impact to the end item delivery requirements.

Salary Range Transparency:

Buffalo, NY $80,000.00-$115,000.00 Annually

The base salary range represents the low and high end of the Moog salary range for this position in the given work location. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range(s) listed is just one component of Moog's total compensation package for employees.
