You oversee daily operations by directing patient traffic, monitoring arrivals and no-shows, managing provider schedules in Epic, and ensuring smooth room utilization. You schedule follow-ups, handle phone and in-person communications, arrange for interpreters or transportation, and maintain accurate patient information. Additionally, you provide administrative support, assist with insurance authorizations, scan and transcribe documents, and contribute to process improvement initiatives such as Kaizen and 4SPS. Knowledgeable of both manual and computer tracking of scheduling systems. Epic or EMR experience PREFERRED.Bilingual in English and Spanish PREFERREDSpecial knowledge, skills, & abilities:Ability to prioritize tasks and successfully handle multiple and changing priorities. Proficient with Microsoft Word and GroupWise, working knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel. Excellent typing and transcription skills Excellent skill in correct use of English and grammar. Skilled at exercising tact and sound judgment. Strong communications, interpersonal, organizational, and customer service orientation. Capable of gathering and reporting statistical data.
