Wages

$25.00 - $26.00 per hour

Benefits

Generous Paid Time Off (PTO), plus eight paid holidays per year and two floating holidays; cell phone stipend provided; competitive health plan with BlueCross, BlueShield of MN, dental, and vision insurance offerings: Health Savings Account (HSA). There is employer paid basic life insurance with the option for additional coverage paid by the employees. The employer pays for Accidental Death and Dismemberment (AD&D) and short- and long-term disability insurance. COPAL sponsors a retirement plan with 6% employer contribution after 90 days of service and immediate vesting.

A Typical Day in the Life...

A typical day as COPAL's Office Manager provides an opportunity to ensure smooth office operations, support organizational events, and coordinate volunteers. Responsibilities will include the following:



  • Managing office supplies, including purchasing and maintaining inventory levels.
  • Overseeing the general administration of the main office and providing support to other locations (Worker's Center, Mankato, and Rochester) to ensure a well-organized and productive work environment.
  • Supporting cross-location events, team meetings, and employee engagement activities.
  • Assisting in travel arrangements for employees, including booking accommodations and transportation for inter-office travel.
  • Coordinating facility maintenance and vendor relationships for all office locations.
  • Ensuring office equipment is functional and managing service requests and repairs when necessary.
  • Supervising a contracted cleaning person to ensure clean and welcoming office spaces.
  • Assisting with employee onboarding and training for new hires, including preparing workspaces, equipment, and necessary documentation.
  • Assisting with planning and logistics for internal and external events, including securing necessary rentals and coordinating space reservations.
  • Collaborating with the membership coordinator to co-coordinate COPAL's volunteer program, including recruitment, training, scheduling, and recognition of volunteers.
  • Coordinating with the data manager to maintain volunteer records and ensure alignment with organizational needs.
  • Assisting accountant and bookkeeper staff with managing office-related budgets, including tracking expenses for supplies, equipment, and services.



Who You Are



  • You have a High School Diploma.
  • You are bilingual in Spanish/English.
  • You have previous experience in office management or administrative coordination, preferably in a multi-location setting.
  • You demonstrate excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
  • You possess strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • You are proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other office management tools.
  • You have the ability to work collaboratively and build relationships across teams.
  • It is preferable if you have experience in event planning and volunteer coordination.
  • You have the ability to maintain confidential information regarding personnel matters and other corporate details.
  • You are able to work respectfully and communicate effectively with multi-cultural, diverse populations in stressful and emotional situations.
  • You have a valid driver's license, access to reliable transportation, and can meet COPAL's driving record requirements. (Note: If the license was not issued in the state of Minnesota, you have 60 days after becoming a Minnesota resident to apply for a Minnesota driver's license or permit, unless you're a new hire living out of state.)
