Your Role Mission: To drive sales growth with the goal of increasing market share and sales volume for American Pneumatic Tool, hand tools and accessories within assigned territory - Houston, Texas and surrounding areas. Implement actions that result in sustainable, profitable growth that is in-line with overall company objectives and goals. This penetration into the sales channels and world-class customer service are paramount in accomplishing the company goal of becoming "First in Mind - First in Choice". Roles and Responsibilities: Driving sales growth within assigned territory for American Pneumatic Tools. Primary focus on signing new accounts and increasing sales for handheld tool products and accessories. Targets include and are not limited to new dealers, national rental and independent rental customers, new and existing * Perform effective sales and account management in the designated territory by providing hands-on demonstrations, building strong relationships and support with clients to effectively showcase assigned products * Provide additional growth and support to assigned territory by collaborating effectively with the regional sales manager * Establish product knowledge of American Pneumatic Tools with the goal to expand PTNA product portfolio knowledge Primary Responsibilities: * Conduct on-site product demonstrations to highlight products and local sales support * Engage in high-volume face-to-face sales to generate new leads and close local sales opportunities * Develop and maintain positive relationships with new and established customers through close management of accounts and attention to their needs * Must be able to tow equipment to customer sites, lift, operate and transport machinery as required * Assist other team members with customer training or shared work to maximize the potential market share growth * Assist the Regional Sales team by effectively providing local same day response to new and existing customers, not limited to delivery of product as needed * Work with Director of Sales, local operations, branch and regional sales team to develop strong long term customer service, problem solving and well-rounded sales skills * Utilize CRM system to manage schedule, prepare sales proposals, maintain up to date status of pipeline development, business development activities, contact information, notes and any other relevant information * Always represent the core values and culture of the Atlas Copco Group Experience: This is an entry level position. A minimum of one - two (1 - 2) years of related work experience in capital equipment sales is preferred. Education: A four (4) year, bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, or engineering will be beneficial with minimum of one (1) year of experience as described above, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Certifications/Licenses: Must maintain a valid driver's license and acceptable driving record. Skills: Computer Skills: * Must have working knowledge of computer and smart phone applications including Microsoft Office; experience and proficiency with CRM platforms is desirable. Language & Reasoning Ability: * Ability to read English, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures and governmental regulations. * Ability to write detailed reports and business correspondence as required to effectively convey meaning and influence. * Ability to effectively present complex information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers and the public. * Apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram and/or schedule form. * Ability to solve problems and handle different situations where there are limited set rules. * Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions. Travel: This position will require extensive travel by automobile within the assigned territory and includes nights and weekends as needed. Some requirements to travel for trainings and or additional customer events as needed 5% Travel (automobile and plane) outside of assigned area 5% Supervisory Responsibilities: This position has no supervisory responsibility.
