About the Opportunity

DMI, LLC is seeking a Selenium Test Engineer to join us. The Selenium Test Engineer will be responsible for automating new and existing test scripts, executing test scripts, documenting defects, and tracking defects to closure.

Duties and Responsibilities:

    Establish test automation processes and participate in evaluating/planning the automation roadmap.
  • Maintain and update Selenium WebDriver scripts.
  • Design, develop, and implement a scalable test automation framework and strategy using Selenium WebDriver.
  • Create test strategy, test plans, and test cases for projects managed through an Agile development methodology.
  • Develop and maintain methods and libraries needed to rapidly grow and scale automation suite.
  • Develop and/or update scripts for Web Services and Rest Services.
  • Develop and/or update scripts on web applications, web services, and mobile applications.
  • Review and analyze system requirements, specifications, user documentation, help files, and other project documentation to ensure quality of the products and test to be developed.
  • Ensure proper version control and configuration management of all test cases developed and test environments used.
  • Develop and maintain good professional working relationships with team members and client personnel.
  • Execute test cases, and document and analyze results.
  • Identify, document, and report defects to software engineers.
  • Assist software engineers with troubleshooting defects.
  • Track defects to closure.
  • Conduct post-release / post-implementation smoke testing.
  • Work with the project team in support of creating and presenting customer briefings.


Qualifications

Education and Years of Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or rleated technical or funcational discipline.
  • 7+ years of experience as a Quality Assurance Tester or similar role.
  • 4+ years of experience with Selenium.
  • 3+ years of experience with Agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban).
  • Experience working in a SEI CMMI Level 3 or higher environment.

Required and Desired Skills/Certifications:

  • Experience with programming script languages.
  • Proven history of successfully coordinating and executing all aspects of testing efforts from project inception to post launch.
  • Demonstrated experience with various forms of software testing: functional, non-functional, integration, system, regression, and end-to-end testing.
  • Experience with Jira or other issue/project tracking software.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact with business and technical personnel at all levels of an organization.
  • Strong observational skills, analytical, and results oriented.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, and a passion to learn.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite.
