Postdoctoral (and other) positions are available in the laboratory of Dr. Mark P. Rubinstein, in the Department of Internal Medicine and part of the newly created Pelotonia Institute for Immuno-Oncology (PIIO) at the Ohio State University. The successful candidate will be integrated into a highly collaborative and dynamic environment of immuno-oncology researchers at the new PIIO institute with access to state-of the-art facilities and technologies. The Rubinstein laboratory is focused on developing immune-based strategies that will help individuals with cancer and other human disease. While some effort is focused on utilization of cytokines to augment T cell therapies, we are seeking to understand and develop a wide range of immune-based approaches for treatment of cancer and human disease leveraging collaboration with other academic investigators and industry. We are seeking highly motivated individuals with a track record of success. Although experience in areas such as flow cytometry, immunohistochemistry, molecular biology, computational biology, single cell sequencing, phage display, and other advanced genetic screening techniques may be helpful, the ability and interest to learn is paramount. Interested applicants should send one PDF file containing a cover letter and CV, including a list of publications and methodological experience, to Dr. Mark Rubinstein at cancerimmunologyjobs@osumc.edu. Please include POSUV03 in the header of your email. A Ph.D. or M.D. in a relevant field is required for the postdoctoral position, although applicants without such degrees will be considered for other positions. The university requires completion of a background check and qualified candidates may be asked to complete a pre-employment physical including a drug screen. Salary is based on the NIH scale and commensurate with experience. |
