Position Overview:

The Financial
Advisor II (FAII) plays a pivotal role in the success of Broadway Wealth
Solutions (BWSI) and Broadway Bank's mass affluent strategy. The FAII serves as
a trusted advisor, delivering expert financial advice and investment strategies
through a consultative, goals-based approach. This role involves building and
strengthening client relationships, providing exceptional service, and
leveraging expertise to translate complex financial concepts into actionable
insights. The FAII is also an ambassador for Broadway Wealth Solutions,
representing the firm with integrity and professionalism in the community.
The FAII is
responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of assets under management
(AUM), with a focus on financial planning for a diverse client base including
professionals, executives, and their firms. Key responsibilities include
marketing, evaluating, planning, and monitoring client portfolios, encompassing
both AUM and insurance solutions. The FAII collaborates closely with various
lines of business within Broadway Bank and contributes to strategic
transformation efforts aligning with the firm's goals and budget.

Essential Functions:

  • Work with clients to create detailed financial road maps, aligning their financial strategies with personal goals.
  • Gather and review client financial statements, tax returns, estate planning documents, and other relevant information to inform financial planning.
  • Coordinate with clients' other professional advisors to deliver comprehensive financial advice.
  • Conduct a complete analysis of financial, industry, and management information.
  • Ensure accurate preparation and review of new account documentation.
  • Regularly engage with clients to assess their investment needs, financial trends, and organizational changes.
  • Monitor client accounts and recommend appropriate rebalancing actions.
  • Build and maintain primary contact relationships with key customers, providing proactive advisory services.
  • Manage and expand a portfolio of high-value clients, focusing on retention, acquisition, and revenue growth.
  • Foster strong working relationships with Private and Business Banking Partners to address referrals and provide solutions.
  • Contribute to special projects and perform other duties as assigned.
  • This position may require travel within the Bank's geographic area.


Experience and Education:

  • Minimum of seven years of relevant experience in financial advising or a related field.
  • Four-year college degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • S65 or S66; Texas Life and Health license required.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Deploy a consultative approach to understand and address client needs and circumstances.
  • Develop and implement financial solutions, including investment management, retirement planning, education planning, income tax management, and wealth transfer strategies.
  • Partner with internal teams to deliver comprehensive solutions and enhance the client experience.
  • Maintain up-to-date documentation and ensure compliance with relevant policies and procedures.
  • Cultivate personal business development and raise awareness of Wealth Management services.
  • Educate clients and colleagues on the value of financial planning and Wealth Management.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, addressing concerns and driving satisfaction.
  • Demonstrate a strong desire for continuous learning and professional development.
  • Exhibit strong influence and negotiation skills to drive results and client satisfaction.
  • Promote a culture of collaboration and teamwork across organizational boundaries.

Other Requirements:

  • Energetic, self-driven, with a persistent desire to learn and grow professionally.
  • Requires the ability to lift, carry, push, pull weights or otherwise move objects weighing as much as 10 lbs. on a regular basis and/or for extended periods of time during the workday.
  • Occasional overtime or extended hours may be required.
