Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your comprehensive rail vehicle maintenance expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You'll work alongside dedicated, skilled, and collaborative teammates. You'll contribute significantly to the safety and efficiency of our River line Light Rail Vehicles. Day-to-day, you'll work closely with teams across the business (including shop operations, engineering and planning, maintenance, and repair), ensure compliance with State regulations and River line standards, and much more.

We'll look to you for:




  • Assisting with oversight of River line Vehicle Maintenance Department operations,



  • Developing long-range plans for fleet maintenance, preventive maintenance, and repair,



  • Offering administrative and managerial support to the Superintendent - Vehicle Maintenance,



  • Maintaining the River line Reliability, Availability, Maintainability, and Safety Programs,



  • Participating in the selection, training, and evaluation of personnel,



  • Managing the development and administration of the River line asset management databases.

  • Knowledge of maintenance practices and regulations for a vehicle fleet (rail, bus or similar),



  • Familiarity with principles and practices of warranty administration and quality assurance.,



  • Skill in overseeing and participating in the management of a comprehensive rail vehicle maintenance program.,



  • Experience in developing and managing large service contracts.,



  • Leadership skills with a focus on supervision, training, and performance evaluation.,



  • Resilience and willingness to work on-call on a set schedule.,



  • Experience or understanding of maintenance of diesel or electric passenger rail vehicles.
