Job Purpose

The Digital Services Development (DSD) Division is tasked with navigating the strategy and execution for Honda's current & future digital services. The team will focus on building and sustaining Honda's competitiveness in the marketplace by developing digital services, features, products, and services with a sharp focus on customer experience. The team holds responsibility for customer value, competitiveness, development, and profitability of these services for Honda in North America.

As vehicles become more connected, Honda is working to develop industry-leading digital services and programs to delight customers. This Go-To-Market Sr. Analyst role is a critical component to delivering on AHM's goals for digital products. This role will play a crucial part in bringing digital services for Honda and Acura vehicles into market by working closely with Project Leaders and key stakeholders across our division through the planning and execution of go-to-market strategies. This is an opportunity to play a critical role in a rapidly evolving and increasingly important part of Honda's digital products, subscriptions, and services.

In this role, you will lead the planning, execution, and documentation of Go-To-Market (GTM) strategies for digital services. Working with business leaders, you will develop and execute GTM plans, defining target customer segments, business simulations, distribution channels, and promotional strategies. You will also support business planning activities for Honda's digital products and services, including capturing and documenting planning activities, as well as assisting in creating and delivering business planning proposals.

Maintaining regular communication with project leaders and relevant stakeholders, you will ensure the success of GTM projects and activities. You will demonstrate an excellent understanding of the organization, building trust with colleagues and developing transparent, productive working relationships across the business, including with international colleagues.

Key Accountabilities

  • Lead GTM strategy planning, execution, and documentation for digital services

    • Develop and execute comprehensive Go-To-Market plans.
    • Define target customer segments, pricing models, distribution channels, and promotional strategies.
    • Support the business planning activities for Honda digital products and services that will focus on optimizing current and planning future services go-to-market strategies.
    • Capture and document planning activities for the purpose of information sharing and alignment as they relate to go-to-market strategy and planning. Assist in creating and delivering GTM business proposals.
    • Expertise in the drivers, levers, KPIs and financial implications of each product and feature. Develop simulations and models to understand the potential impact of GTM business proposals and decisions. Ensure these are part of all GTM plans.
    • Gather, analyze, and execute forecasting of all the DSD related vehicle unit volumes across brands and platforms in an ongoing cadence. Inform all cross functional partners and ensure the data is readily available.


  • Cross functional communication and coordination

    • Maintain regular communication with Project Leaders and all relevant stakeholders across teams to ensure success for GTM projects and activities.
    • Demonstrate an excellent understanding of how the organization works, acquiring extensive knowledge to gain trust with colleagues.
    • Develop and maintain transparent and productive working relationships across the business including international colleagues for information sharing and alignment to ensure success.


  • Risk Management & Continuous Improvement

    • Identify potential risks and challenges in the go-to-market process.
    • Develop mitigation strategies to address these risks proactively.
    • Gather feedback from stakeholders and customers to refine go-to-market strategies.
    • Stay updated with industry trends and best practices to continuously improve processes.



Qualifications, Experience, and Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field; or equivalent professional experience supported by subject matter training.
  • 6+ years of experience in Business Analyst, Marketing, or Product Management roles.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and software.
  • Prior experience in a team environment and the ability to interface with all levels of management required.
  • Skillful questioner - can elicit information and requirements from a broad group of stakeholders.
  • Experience with digital products development processes and systems. Automotive industry a bonus.
  • 3+ years of experience leading cross functional teams to build and execute GMT strategy and tactical plans for customer facing products or services.
  • Ability to thrive in ambiguous environments and work at strategic and tactic levels simultaneously.
  • Ability to challenge current thinking in constructive ways.
  • Ability to work independently and respond rapidly in a fast-changing environment.
  • High level of attention to detail while maintaining vision of the larger business objectives and meet company goals.

  • Ability to work effectively with American Honda Motors staff, Honda Motor Japan Staff, IT staff, 3rd party vendor staff.
  • Ability to build strong relationships at all levels, across business units and organizations, and maintain a clear understanding of business imperatives.
  • Strong Excel skillset and financial business acumen.
