Add to favorites Favorited View favorites Pay Grade/Pay Range: Minimum: $18.32 - Midpoint: $21.97 (Hourly N4) Department/Organization: 504103 - Grounds Normal Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 6:00am to 2:30pm Job Summary: The Heavy Truck Operator operates vehicles that requires a Class B CDL and has hydraulic lifting capabilities including dump trucks, garbage trucks, etc. Performs preventive maintenance on assigned vehicles. Required Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or GED and two (2) years of large vehicle/heavy duty truck or trailer operation experience. Additional Required Department Minimum Qualifications: Must be able to meet regular attendance requirements and work overtime, sometimes on short notice. Requires long days, on your feet, standing, walking, lifting, and carrying. Over 8-hour days may be required based on the condition of the grounds and campus event schedules. Requires work during all climates of weather, hot, cold, rain, etc., depending on season. Must accomplish the essential functions, with or without reasonable accommodations, in a timely manner. Closely observes and adheres to all safety rules and regulations as listed on product and equipment labels and as directed by management. Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
