Nissha Medical Technologies is looking for an Accounts Receivable Accountant to join our Colorado Springs Finance Team! This position will support the accounting department by managing the receivables processes and ensuring timely collections. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, Preparing General Ledger Journal Entries, Month-end and Year-end close, Bank Reconciliation, Accounts Receivables, Intercompany Accounting, etc. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES: Process and distribute customer statements via email and/or customer's portal uploads on a timely manner. Handle customer inquiries; research, resolve/reconcile any billing discrepancies. Monitor aging accounts receivables to ensure timely payment on invoices. Follow up on overdue invoices through phone calls, emails and/or letters to ensure prompt payment in accordance with company terms. Escalate problematic accounts to management as needed. Apply payments received and balance daily deposits. Perform various GL month-end close activities, including preparation and review of journal entries. Perform bank reconciliations ensuring ERP system bank records are consistently updated. Record and reconcile inter-company activity. Prepare multiple account reconciliations. Prepare supporting documentation for audits and adhere to SOX / internal controls. Other duties and ad hoc projects as assigned. REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in accounting or equivalent combination of related education and experience. 3-5 years relevant accounts receivables experience. Practical knowledge of accounting close processes. Strong analytical skills to review general ledger activity, research, and explain variances. Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy and ability to work under critical deadlines. Excellent customer service skills, quick response time. Positive and team-oriented attitude, able to balance multiple tasks and changing priorities, with resilience under pressure. Strong communication Proficiency in Microsoft Office with advanced Excel skills Experience with ERP systems - Oracle experience preferred. The established Compensation for this position will be $60,000 to $70,000 per year (paid on a bi-weekly basis) depending on qualifications and experience.
