We are seeking a therapist to join our Acute Campus, where we provide direct care and management for clients experiencing acute mental health crises.

**Schedule:** Sunday to Tuesday, 7 AM - 7:30 PM This is a full-time position offering six groups per week. The hourly rate ranges from $26 to $29 for unlicensed clinicians (LPCC, LSW, or LMFTC) and from $32 to $35 for licensed clinicians (LMFT, LPC, LCSW).

**Position Overview:**

Behavioral Health Therapists are master's-level clinicians who work as part of a multidisciplinary team. They provide behavioral health consultations, biopsychosocial assessments, counseling, and evidence-based interventions to individuals, groups, and their families utilizing strength-based wellness and recovery models of service delivery. Therapists ensure the integration of services and coordination of care to promote the best outcomes for our clients.

**Primary Responsibilities:** - Conduct comprehensive assessments, evaluations, crisis interventions, and psychotherapy for individuals, families, and groups with mental health and behavioral health needs. - Administer standardized screening tools to identify clients with behavioral health and/or substance abuse issues.

- Assist clients in symptom reduction (e.g., insomnia, anxiety, depression, post-trauma symptoms, stress management, emotional dysregulation).

- Utilize evidence-based treatment models, including CBT, solution-focused therapy, behavioral activation, harm reduction, motivational interviewing, and health psychology. - Provide integrated assessments and interventions for clients struggling to manage their health due to physical, psychological, behavioral, cognitive, and/or social factors.

- Collaborate closely with a team to address social issues and basic needs that hinder effective treatment and clients' ability to thrive.

- Link clients to case management services and community resources as needed.

- Develop comprehensive, individualized treatment plans and goals for clients; update plans as needs change.

- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in the electronic health record (EHR) according to established protocols.

- Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to review client caseloads, treatment, concerns, and recommendations.

- Contribute positively to the financial health of the organization by ensuring the delivery of billable services and using data for decision-making and program improvements.

- Maintain positive, ethical, and professional relationships with community and government agencies, and other professionals.

- Enhance professional growth and development through specialized training.

- Complete all required documentation accurately, legibly, and within established timelines.

**Key Technical Skills and Knowledge:**

Required Education:** Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field. Licensure is not required for this position.

**Experience:** A minimum of two years of experience working in a clinical setting in the behavioral health field, including assessment, evaluation, and therapeutic engagement with diverse clients; proficiency in using evidence-based counseling models and techniques relevant to presenting problems; good diagnostic skills; treatment/care planning abilities; and experience working with clinical documentation and electronic health records (EHR).

**Knowledge:** Familiarity with DSM-5 and the principles of recovery and trauma-informed care in treatment planning and direct care.
