Qualifications you'll bring:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information-technology, engineering, system analysis or a related study, or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years' experience in enterprise infrastructure and operations technologies.
• The availability to work full-time in a virtual or hybrid role requiring occasional travel to our office locations.
• 5+ Expertise in Microsoft Azure, and experience with other cloud platforms such as AWS and Google Cloud.
• Experience with On-Premise and Cloud hosting infrastructure, including Linux, Windows, and Unix software based systems.
• Experience with storage systems, such as SAN and NAS, and a strong understanding of storage provisioning, performance optimization, and data replication.
• Experience administering VMWare, Commvault, Pure Storage, Unix, Linux, and Windows Server.

Your key responsibilities:

• Work with architecture and engineering on the design, deployment, and continuous improvement of important services.
• Provide input into long-range platform requirements and operational guidelines, with a focus on automation and continuous improvements.
• Design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure, focusing on Azure and other major cloud providers.
• Assist with vendor management, contracts, and renewals, prioritizing cloud-based providers and ensuring adherence to our core values.
• Work with Commvault enterprise backup and recovery, Citrix, AIX Unix, Linux, and Windows Server operating systems in a hybrid-centric environment.
• Develop and implement cloud-based strategies for scaling, disaster recovery, and security.
• Execute and improve the cloud infrastructure deployment process, ensuring automation, security and cloud-first considerations.
• Ensure application performance, uptime, and scalability while maintaining high standards of design in a cloud-based environment.
• Develop and facilitate disaster recovery and resiliency strategies across multiple environments.
• Participate in on-call rotation and ensure uptime of services.
• Maintain cloud infrastructure metrics and report status to program leadership.
• Evaluate and integrate enterprise tools, services, and processes with cloud operations platform, ensuring cloud operations excellence.
• Contribute to our humble pursuit of excellence by performing various responsibilities that may arise, reflecting our collective goal of enhancing healthcare delivery and being the difference for the customer.

Virtual, may require occasional travel into the Rochester or Schenectady offices
