Location: Oak Ridge, Tennessee Job Title: System Development Digital Engineer Career Level From: Associate Career Level To: Senior Specialist Organization: Mission Applications (50992241) Job Specialty: System Development What You'll Do Participate in the development and implementation of Model-Based Definition (MBD), Requirements Management System (RMS), and Product Data Management (PDM) system into the manufacturing business process. Execute technical activities involving model-based engineering, requirements management systems, product data management, and data governance for the specification and conveyance of product definition. Work with NNSA federal program managers and other NNSA contractors to develop Digital Engineering Roadmaps for the National Security Enterprise complex and apply those to Y-12. Develop specifications and procedures for integrating new Digital Engineering systems into current business practices. Communicate with other internal organizations involved in transformational activities - cyber, architecture, engineering, product engineering, quality, and production operations. OR a Master's degree in engineering/science/information technology discipline. OR Eight or more years of education and/or relevant experience may be considered to satisfy educational and years-of-experience requirements for this posting. Process mapping, functional and technical design documentation. ITIL processes and methodologies. The ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Energy Q clearance is required. This position may require entry into the Material Access Areas (MAA) and participation in the Human Reliability Program (10 C.F.R. Part 712), which requires successful competition of a DOE counterintelligence evaluation and may include a counterintelligence-scope polygraph examination. This position may be categorized as a "designated position" identified by 10 C.F.R.
