Medical Billing - Revenue Cycle - Hospital Records Retrieval Clerk Location: Remote or On-Site Hourly Pay: $17 This position is bonus eligible Work Schedule: M-F 8am-5pm CST JOB SUMMARY The Medical Billing - Revenue Cycle - Hospital Records Retrieval Clerk works to obtain the hospital records needed to facilitate timely and accurate claim processing and appeals. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/DUTIES Obtains information to request records from hospital facilities. Faxes accurate requests for records to hospital. Identify accounts needing hospital records requested. Follows-up on records requested until records are obtained. Ensure records are documented in account and ready for next process. QUALIFICATIONS Required Experience: 6 months of data entry experience Basic computer skills - including basic Microsoft Word and Excel Experience with downloading documents from websites and accessing documents Excellent communication skills both verbal and written Preferred Experience: 6 months records retrieval experience Experience with Respond Billing / Sweet Preferred Education: High school diploma GED Or significant, relevant work experience Why Choose Air Evac Lifeteam?
