This role drives revenue growth by developing and executing innovative merchandising strategies, ensuring a cohesive brand and product presentation across all digital touchpoints. By leveraging analytics, conducting competitive research, and collaborating with cross-functional teams, the Women's Digital Merchandising Manager creates a best-in-class online shopping experience. This position also provides leadership to the digital merchandising team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement. BE THE ISLAND GUIDE Strategy & Merchandising:
- Develop and execute digital merchandising strategies for Women's Apparel, Swimwear, and Accessories, ensuring alignment with seasonal priorities, business goals, and omni-channel objectives.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to align online and in-store merchandising strategies for a cohesive customer experience.
- Manage product rankings, onsite search optimization, and category visibility to improve discoverability and engagement.
- Analyze product performance and identify opportunities to maximize sales and profitability.
- Lead A/B testing initiatives for site enhancements and share actionable findings.
- Measure and communicate the impact of merchandising updates to stakeholders.
- Conduct competitive analysis to identify growth opportunities and stay ahead of industry trends.
Digital Experience & Photography:
- Create strategies for site banners, landing pages, and navigation to deliver an intuitive online shopping experience.
- Ensure creative assets align with product and seasonal priorities, enhancing the customer journey.
- Collaborate with creative teams to maintain consistency with brand standards.
- Oversee product photography to ensure alignment with eCommerce needs, including studio and on-location shoots.
- Manage shot lists, styling notes, and image assets to support product detail pages.
- Create briefs for photography to address gaps in imagery and support product strategies.
Reporting & Analytics:
- Monitor key performance metrics such as conversion rates, bounce rates, and sales trends using analytics tools.
- Provide regular performance reports and actionable insights to stakeholders.
- Conduct A/B testing to drive continuous improvements in the customer experience.
Marketing Collaboration:
- Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure product strategies are reflected across all marketing touchpoints, including email, paid media, and social campaigns.
- Collaborate with creatives to maintain consistency in messaging and design.
- Monitor marketing campaign performance to ensure alignment with product priorities and objectives.
Leadership & Team Development:
- Mentor and develop the eCommerce merchandising team, fostering innovation and collaboration.
- Provide training to enhance team expertise in digital merchandising best practices.
ESSENTIALS FOR LIFE IN PARADISE
- Bachelors degree or equivalent experience required.
- Generally, 5+ years of experience in digital merchandising, eCommerce, or related digital roles, with a focus on Women's categories preferred.
- Proven experience using web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics preferred).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into action. Experience with Adobe Analytics is preferred.
- Expertise in digital merchandising and optimizing product presentation to enhance customer engagement and sales performance.
- Excellent project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams.
- A passion for Women's fashion and a keen eye for online presentation.
- Ability to build and maintain productive cross-functional relationships to drive business results.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor and develop team members.
- Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making skills combined with adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
Multiple factors will vary the applicable rate of pay for this role, including an individual's experience, knowledge, and skillset, as well as work location and available budget.
