This position is based out of our Waltham, MA office on a hybrid basis. We are unable to offer work sponsorship for this role.

Your impact:

The Manager of the Senior Sales Development Representative (Sr. SDR) Team is responsible for leading a high-performing team that supports channel partners by building relationships with channel sales reps and acquiring new members to the platform. This leadership role drives revenue growth by ensuring team effectiveness, developing sales strategies, and fostering strong distributor relationships. The Manager will focus on meeting and exceeding sales targets, optimizing operational processes, and developing the skills and performance of the Sr. SDR team.

Sales Leadership & Goals Attainment:




  • Oversee and manage the performance, daily activities, and operations of the Sr. SDR team to achieve monthly, quarterly and annual growth targets.





  • Set clear expectations for team KPIs, including daily activity requirements and monthly quota attainment.





  • Monitor and report team performance metrics, identifying areas of opportunity for improvement.





  • Drive sales success through strategic SPIFFs and incentive programs to motivate and engage the team.




Distributor Support & Strategy Implementation:




  • Partner with distributor leadership to develop and execute strategies to increase Dining Alliance membership and market share.





  • Lead the team in leveraging distributor relationships to onboard new members and cross-sell additional services, such as Beyond Broadline programs and Back Office SaaS Solutions.





  • Organize the company and team at distributor rollout sales blitzes, fostering alignment and collaboration.




Coaching & Team Development:




  • Develop a high-performing, results-driven team through recruitment, onboarding, training, and coaching.





  • Conduct regular one-on-one meetings to provide actionable feedback and career development guidance.





  • Use conversational AI tools (e.g., Gong) and CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce) to assess and improve team performance.





  • Serve as a role model for best practices in sales strategy, pipeline management, and opportunity execution.




Operational Excellence & Reporting:




  • Ensure accurate sales activity tracking and forecasting through tools like Salesforce and other internal systems.





  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide resources, training, and support to maximize team performance.





  • Communicate trends, opportunities, and challenges to senior leadership while recommending actionable solutions.




Team Culture & Leadership:




  • Foster a positive and engaging team environment that promotes collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.





  • Lead weekly team strategy sessions and sales meetings to celebrate successes, share best practices, and address challenges.





  • Act as a liaison between the Sr. SDR team and other departments to align on shared goals and initiatives.





About you:




  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.



  • 5+ years of sales management experience in a high-growth or fast-paced environment.



  • Prior experience working with distributors or within the foodservice industry is highly desirable.



  • Proven track record of consistently meeting/exceeding sales quotas in high-volume outbound sales roles.




  • Exceptional leadership and coaching skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team to achieve results.




  • Strong understanding of sales processes, pipeline management, and CRM platforms (Salesforce proficiency required).




  • Outstanding organizational and time management skills, with an ability to adapt to changing priorities.




  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders.




  • Experience in the foodservice supply chain (distribution and manufacturing) preferred.




  • Strong business acumen with the ability to translate strategic goals into actionable sales activities.


  • Proficiency with sales enablement tools like Gong and MS Office Suite.

  • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time, including overnight travel as needed. Flexibility for short-notice travel is required.
