How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?

The Material Handler will be responsible for efficiently handling, moving, and organizing materials, supplies, and products within the warehouse to support production and shipping operations. This role is critical to maintaining the smooth flow of materials and ensuring the manufacturing process runs efficiently and on schedule.

Material Handling & Movement:

* Load, unload, and transport raw materials, components, and finished goods to designated areas within the facility using forklifts, pallet jacks, or other equipment.

* Verify the accuracy of materials being moved, ensuring proper quantities and types.

* Inventory Management:

* Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records by tagging, labeling, and tracking materials in the warehouse management system.

* Conduct regular cycle counts and report discrepancies to supervisors.

* Order Fulfillment:

* Pick and stage materials for production according to work orders or schedules.

* Pack, label, and prepare products for shipping as needed.

* Warehouse Organization:

* Keep storage areas clean, organized, and in compliance with safety standards.

* Ensure materials are stored properly to prevent damage and maintain accessibility.

* Safety & Compliance:

* Adhere to all safety protocols, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).

* Identify and report any unsafe conditions, damaged materials, or equipment malfunctions.

* Collaboration & Communication:

* Work closely with production, quality, and shipping/receiving teams to ensure smooth workflow.

* Communicate delays, shortages, or other material issues promptly to supervisors.

The annual base hourly rate range for this position in California is $24.50 - $30.50. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Air Liquide considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
