Job Description: The Manager of Technical Services is responsible for providing technical expertise to develop, validate, and enhance manufacturing processes. Essential responsibilities include:

  1. Transfer technology for new products from the development site(s) to the manufacturing site
  2. Transfer technology to Manufacturing during the process validation of submitted/approved products
  3. Plan and manage successive phases of developmental and transfer activities including production of research, Scale-Up, Exhibit/ Registration for ANDA submission, component changes and process validation batches.
  4. Provide technical support to manufacturing (i.e. review SOPs, Protocols, reports etc.)
  5. Perform all supervisory duties for exempt level specialists. Assign daily work, hiring, performance management, training and other managerial duties.
  6. Write and manage department SOP's, training etc to ensure regulatory compliance and operations enhancement.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science in Science, Engineering or related field required.
  • 5-10 years related experience required.
  • Previous supervisory experience required, managerial experience preferred.
  • Previous pharmaceutical and FDA regulated industry experience required.
  • Ability to manage conflict and influence outcomes required.
  • Experience working with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint required.
  • Exposure to allergens, working in aseptic areas, prolonged standing and sitting required.

Shift: Day

Compensation:

  • The salary range for this position is $91,000 - $148,800 depending on experience.
