As an Environmental Test Technican, you will be at the forefront of validating the durability and performance of our products in various environmental conditions. You will ensure that our aerospace and defense solutions meet stringent standards required for mission-critical applications. This is a hands-on role that requires precision, technical expertise, and a collaborative spirit.


Responsibilities

  • Develop test specifications, methods and procedures from drawings, standard work, and diagrams.
  • Assist in preparing technical reports summarizing findings and recommending solutions to technical problems.
  • Calibrates, improves, and performs maintenance on test equipment.
  • May act as a team leader of a small group of test technicians within their own functional area
  • Maintain required certifications.
  • Recommend 6S improvements.

Qualifications

Minimum:

  • 2 - 4 years of test technician experience in a manufacturing work environment
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Basic computer skills (Word, Excel, Timekeeping system, ERP system, Routing, etc.)
  • Detail-oriented with good manual and eye dexterity (precise)
  • Ability to adapt to changing circumstances and embrace new challenges.
  • Willingness to take on diverse projects and work with different teams.
  • This position requires access to technology, materials, software or hardware that is controlled by US export laws. In order to be eligible for this position, you must be a "US Person" under US export laws (or eligible for approval under a U.S. Government export license).
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.

Preferred:

  • Associates Degree or Technical Degree in Electrical Technology
  • Military Electronic Schools or Electronic Training from military
  • Active Security Clearance
  • Experience in defense or aerospace industry
  • 4 years experience as a Test Technician in a manufacturing environment or in the military.
  • Should be able to setup and know how to operate a Phase Network Analyzer (PNA) or Vector Network Analyzer (VNA)

Salary Range:Environmental Test Technician III (Senior): $26.91 hr to $33.24 hr. Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Applicable pay within the posted range may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, geographical location, job function of the position, education, and experience of the successful candidate. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as business results.
