Position Title: Supervisor of Title and Escrow Agents

Business Unit: Mortgage Administration

Reports to: Manager of Title Insurance

Position Overview:

This position is primarily responsible for assisting with the day to day operations of the title insurance department, such as handling the title order process, obtaining and reviewing the title examination and clearing title issues. Will coordinate the scheduling of the closing date and time. Will work on special projects as assigned by the Manager of Title Insurance. Will provide the highest quality of customer service to both internal and external customers serviced by First National Services Insurance Company.

Primary Responsibilities:

Supervise title, escrow and settlement personnel and review closing procedures/instructions to verify process and procedures are in place to satisfy lender and underwriter conditions.

Establish and maintain streamlined workflow to ensure all day to day operations are addressed in a timely manner.

Prepare management reports that reflect daily, weekly and monthly activity.

Process and transfer daily fee income deposits.

Review and sign off on monthly reconciliation reports of the escrow, transaction and recording accounts.

Coordinate underwriter and CPA audits to include providing three month copies of bank statements with corresponding reconciliations, current surety and fidelity bonds and licenses. Review findings of final audit with underwriter auditor and implement suggested improvements, if any.

Reconcile and remit premium payments to underwriters. Reconcile vendor invoices and remit payment.

Attend and conduct real estate closings as necessary.

Performs other related duties and projects as assigned.
