The Quality Resource Center is looking for an individual to support quality audit testing and services to ensure successful launch of new products for the Global Supply Chain Division.

This position will be accountable for timey execution of quality audit sample preparation and testing, evaluating test results according to set standards, and demonstrating basic knowledge of raw materials and basic equipment/computing tools to capture and record accurate data. The individual in this position will contribute to the Stage Gate Audit process by supporting audit analysts through independently performing tasks which assist in identifying non-conformances and reporting findings.

Job duties include contact with other employees and access to confidential and proprietary information and/or other items of value, and such access may be supervised or unsupervised. The Company therefore has determined that a review of criminal history is necessary to protect the business and its operations and reputation and is necessary to protect the safety of the Company's staff, employees, and business relationships.

Responsibilities Include:



  • Complete performance verification audits by ensuring manufactured product meets specified design criteria and report results.
  • Partner with multiple control labs to recognize routine requirements and proper procedures for obtaining desired results.
  • Executes experiments such as scale-up verification and opportunity rex evaluations and provides regular updates to Sr. Analyst and QRC Group Leader.
  • Ability to work in a highly fluid technical and team environment.
  • Contribute to OP-16 projects to drive continuous improvement through writing basic reports, outlines procedures used, and results obtained.
  • Establishes timeline for assignments based on priorities with assistance from their supervisor.
  • Identifies and resolves development hurdles.
  • Recognizes problems and implements corrective actions to resolve the issue.
  • Proficient in operating and maintaining moderately complex lab instruments.
  • Other duties as assigned.


BASIC QUALIFICATION:
* Must be legally authorized to work in the country for which you are applying for employment (without now or in the future needing sponsorship for employment work visa and/or permanent residence status).

FORMAL EDUCATION:
Required:
* High School Diploma/equivalent

KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE:
Required:
* 1 year of experience in a lab setting
* Basic computer skills including Microsoft Word
* Strong written and verbal communication, and interpersonal skills
* Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
* Basic math skills
* Excellent organization and planning skills
* Ability to interact effectively with various levels of technical experience

Preferred:
* Intermediate use of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Access

TECHNICAL/SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
Required:
* Understanding of fundamental chemistry practices and principles
* Operating a variety of laboratory equipment
* Ensuring compliance with department policies and procedures, applicable laws, rules, and regulations
* Prioritizing daily project tasks
* Solving problems and recommending solutions
* PC skills including Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook); and other applicable applications

Preferred:
* Understands the basics of paint formulation and testing

Upon completion of construction, the individual selected for this role will primarily work at the new Sherwin-Williams Global Technology Center in Brecksville, Ohio. Construction is expected to be complete in 2025. Until then, the role will be based at 4440 Warrensville Center Rd, Warrensville Heights, OH 44128.
