Job Summary:

The Director of Security Operations will lead the security officer and life safety services at a large Client Portfolio. This position is hands-on and responsible for the oversight and direction of the operation and performance of a specific Client Portfolio in New York City, in our fast paced, complex, employee centered, and highly successful company.



Essential Duties and Responsibilities

* Providing strong leadership to our both external clients and employees

* Ensure services are provided to meet all client expectations and contract requirements

* Must be an effective communicator to staff, internally and with clients alike

* A hands-on position at every level

* Be a Leader!

* Able to operate and lead in a union environment

* Concierge and Hospitality services are a large part of the services performed

* Provide recommendations and implement actions for positive and negative personnel actions for those staff members under his/her direct supervision

* Drive performance by retaining, developing and recruiting top talent to ensure the Portfolio has key leaders in operational roles and responsibilities

* Facilitate payment of invoices with Client accounts

* Provide immediate response to emergencies and issues that arise

* Follow/coordinate/develop emergency response, business continuity planning and procedures

* Prepare required reports, as required



Knowledge and Skill Requirements

Candidates should possess some of the following verifiable experiences.

* Law enforcement experience at an executive/management level or Private or Corporate security experience is strongly desired

* Bachelor's degree / law enforcement related degree

* Participate in the company's pre-employment screening process

* Ability to work in a fast paced, customer service environment

* Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize and problem solve

* Good computer skills including all Microsoft Office applications



Compensation

We are offering a competitive salary structure of $100k-$125k with health & welfare, dental, vision, life, and long-term disability (LTD) insurance, and 401K Savings Plan. This position is a full-time, salaried, exempt position.
