Sr. Analysts support the development of client deliverables, performing research and analysis tasks and providing some level of scientific or strategic insight and interpretation. Sr. Analysts contribute to consulting projects in various areas as members of a project team, working independently on assigned project components and tasks, may perform some level of project management and interact directly with clients under senior supervision.


Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct secondary research, including reviewing epidemiological and clinical studies, compiling information from research and pricing databases, analyzing sales information and market trends of life science products and services being evaluated
  • Extract epidemiological, clinical, and economic outcomes data into an Excel-based worksheet
  • Assist in developing discussion guides and survey tools for interviews with clinicians, payers, and other health authorities
  • Analyze data and synthesize relevant information (qualitative/quantitative) from primary and secondary research systematically
  • Develop study reports, presentations and other deliverables to clients under Project Manager's supervision
  • Perform quality control of reports, presentations and other deliverables
  • Participate in client meetings as needed, take notes and draft minutes, prepare interview transcripts
  • Supervise and provide training to junior staff

  • Growing expertise in pricing and reimbursement of drugs, medical devices and diagnostics in US and key global markets

Requirements / Skill level / Training / knowledge

  • Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Health Economics (HEOR), Business/Finance
  • 2+ years of experience in life science consulting is required
  • Strong qualitative, quantitative, analytical, and writing skills
  • Proficiency in MS office
  • Ability to prepare complex charts, graphs, tables and PowerPoint slides
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
