YOUR ROLE:

As Director, Strategy Enablement, you will partner with cross-functional stakeholders to discover, design and deliver exceptional customer experiences aligned with business goals. You will lead a team responsible for strategic product development in our modernized technology platform. This a role that combines business leadership with technology acumen, driving influence across all organizational levels to drive personalized, data-driven marketing at scale.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:



  • Collaborate with cross-functional leads (account leadership, experience strategy, marketing sciences, creative, technology) to rapidly evolve platform capabilities to support modernization roadmap initiatives.
  • Oversee and guide activities of strategy enablement managers and analysts as they are conducting discovery, diagramming flows and writing requirements for the technology team.
  • Foster a culture of shared accountability for outcomes that are in alignment with strategic priorities.
  • Proactively identify and resolve strategic issues that could impair the organization's ability to meet its defined roadmap objectives.
  • Provide subject matter expertise on industry best practices and opportunities to leverage platform capabilities to drive business outcomes.
  • Continually improve strategy enablement team practices and quality of team deliverables and artifacts
  • Review and track team member development goals.
  • Assist in hiring, onboarding, and training enablement managers and business analysts.
  • Ensure tools and software access are properly allocated throughout the team.
  • Champion our agency process and the production of quality work.


REQUIRED SKILLS:



  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a technology field. Advanced degree preferred. Product Management and Agile Scrum certifications a plus.
  • 7+ years of overall experience with increasing scope of responsibility; 5+ years of related experience in technical product management or leading product development in a digital agency, in-house digital team or software company.
  • 3+ year of team management experience.
  • Experience with martech platform, data & architecture concepts is required (AWS, Pega, Adobe, Salesforce, etc.).
  • Solid understanding of user experience and user research tools.
  • Experience in CRM and 360 campaign management preferred.
  • Experience working in or on a team delivering services to a DoD agency a plus.
  • Skilled and experienced in building strong working relationships with internal and external teams to manage needs and expectations throughout product lifecycle.
  • Commercially minded and capable of identifying business and growth opportunities.
  • Must have strong written and oral communication skills. Ability to compile, organize and synthesize large amounts of information.

RAPP's current hybrid model is designed to enable in-person connections and collaboration that is core to our culture, while also supporting flexibility for all employees. As such, we have the option to work from home two days per week, if we'd like.

This range is specific to Chicago and multiple factors are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to: skill set, experience and training, certifications; etc. This is an exempt position.
