THE JOB:

As a Cage Shift Manager, you will be responsible for providing overall management of the team and daily operations of the Casino Cage during assigned shifts while providing excellent guest service. You will play a vital role in our mission to own the guest's experience and create WOW memories that they will carry with them far beyond their time with us.

THE SCHEDULE: 12 AM - 8 AM

Must be able to work holidays and weekends. Schedule may vary depending on business needs.

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

• Communicate with various departments like Casino, Finance, Marketing, Food & Beverage, Hotel, and Retail.
• Ensure all areas run smoothly and balance the cash at the end of each shift, following the rules.
• Make sure the team provides excellent service to guests, handles complaints, and resolves issues quickly and professionally.
• Oversee and support programs like MGM Rewards, MyVegas rewards, and MGM Rewards Mastercard. Issue free play coupons and adjust guest credits as needed.
• Manually adjust guest tiers for special requests, following company policies.
• Create a positive work environment, handle hiring, feedback, discipline, recognition, and training, promoting teamwork and diversity.
• Perform all banking functions within the Casino Cage.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• Possesses bachelor's degree or 4 years of equivalent experience in casino operations.
• Has at least 2 years of cage cashier experience
• 2 years of casino leadership experience is a plus.
