Our faculty dedicate their careers to laryngologic care for the most difficult and sometimes underserved patients in the region to deliver hope for even the most complex conditions. The Department of Otolaryngology is a top-tier department with world-renowned faculty and staff, world-class research, teaching, and medical practice opportunities. The Division of Laryngology is seeking a Lead Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to serve as a partner to the Division Chief and an SLP representative in the Department. As a dually compensated University of Cincinnati (UC) and UC Physicians (UCP) employee, the Lead SLP will bridge academic and clinical missions to improve patient care and enhance financial sustainability through improved clinical operations, billing compliance and increasing patient referrals while optimizing financial return to the department. This position will be responsible for assisting with the overall planning, direction, supervision, and coordination of the SLPs, and collaboration with the laryngologists, in the areas of clinical affairs; workforce recruitment, development, evaluation and retention; student education; and research/quality initiatives. This position will maintain an active clinical practice. Essential Functions
Required Education
Master's Degree in Speech Language Pathology. Required Trainings/Certifications
Speech pathologist license issued by Ohio Medical Board as well as Ohio Speech Language Pathology and Audiology Board. Required Experience
