Cognizant is looking for an experienced and innovative Senior Java Full Stack Engineer to serve our diverse base of global clients. As a member of our team, you will build innovative, cloud-based software that powers modern business. An ideal candidate is someone who enjoys working in a diverse, collaborative, geographically distributed team. • Develop and maintain high-quality code that meets project requirements and industry standards.
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to deployment.
• Lead the design and development of complex software solutions using Agile Methodologies.
• implementation of AWS services including Fargate, EC2, Databases, Cloud, CLI, Lambda, and S3.
• Provide technical expertise in Spring boot Microservices, Spring Boot, Java 11, Core Java, and Advanced Java.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of software components.
• Ensure the scalability and reliability of software applications through effective architecture design.
• Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
• Mentor junior developers and guide them in best practices and coding standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in a timely manner.

Must have: Angular, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS, JS

• Server

Must have: Java Spring Boot or NodeJS/Typescript, strong understanding of the applicable package managers (maven & npm), REST API development

• Database

Must have: MySQL (Generally AWS RDS)

• Cloud / cloud services

Must have: AWS CDK/Lambda/S3

• Ci/cd

Working knowledge of GitHub and Bamboo is desirable.

Working knowledge of authentication and authorization frameworks like OAuth (Ping & Entra ID) and Auth0 is desirable

The annual salary for this position is between $68,422 - $141,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
