Description
Hearth & Home Technologies, the industry leader in fireplace and stove design and manufacturing, is in search of a Learning & Development Intern to join our Member & Community Relations (HR) team in Lakeville, MN! Our internship will run for approximately 12 weeks during the summer of 2025.
Each summer, 15 to 20 students from a variety of majors, join the HHT family for a summer focused on hands on learning, professional development, and networking. HHT interns receive a project (or two!) for the summer and work directly with a mentor for technical and professional guidance. Throughout the summer, professional development sessions are provided for interns including opportunities to learn from and network with senior leadership. This is a paid internship at $20.00 per hour.
Our L&D intern will support improvements in our intranet pages, improving our functional onboarding process (ie: Know/Do/Use) and designing development programs (ie: Sales training, mentorship).
What it takes:
* Pursuing a four-year degree in organizational and industry psychology, instructional design, or human resources, and completing Sophmore or Junior year * Comfort with MS office products * Coursework in HR systems and/or IT systems is preferred * Strong communication skills
