Job Description

Exciting opportunity at MSK: AI Drug Discovery Lead

Join MSK's Office of Technology Development as a AI Drug Discovery Lead, and drive groundbreaking therapies from discovery to clinic. Collaborate with top scientists, lead innovative projects, and shape the future of patient care. This is your opportunity to make an impact at the forefront of drug development.

Role Overview

  • Drive the progression and commercialization of MSK-discovered drug development projects to benefit patients and maximize institutional value.
  • Collaborate with Licensing Managers to develop, execute, and monitor comprehensive drug development plans and strategies.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between MSK investigators, internal departments, and external collaborators.
  • Oversee project budgets, timelines, and resource allocation to ensure efficient and timely advancement of drug discovery initiatives.
  • Support the preparation of marketing materials and development plans for MSK drug projects.
  • Build and manage relationships with key stakeholders, including consultants, CROs, and core facilities.

Key Qualifications

  • Significant experience in drug development, with a strong understanding of the therapeutic discovery process.
  • Proven ability to lead and manage complex, multidisciplinary projects.
  • Expertise in IP management, contracts, and regulatory aspects of drug development.
  • Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills to effectively engage with diverse stakeholders.

Core Skills

  • Drive the planning, execution, and monitoring of complex drug development projects, ensuring alignment with institutional goals and timelines.
  • Develop and manage detailed budgets for drug development initiatives, ensuring financial resources are allocated effectively.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal investigators, external consultants, CROs, and core facilities to facilitate project advancement and problem-solving.
  • Provide strategic guidance on leading drug development technologies, service providers, and best practices to optimize project outcomes.
  • Oversee contracts, intellectual property, and data management processes to ensure compliance and alignment with MSK's objectives.

Additional Information:

  • Location: Hybrid; 2-3x a week at 633 Third Ave, NY, NY
  • Schedule: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM EST, Monday - Frida
  • Reporting to: Director, Application Services
  • Pay Range: $118,800.00-$196,200.00
