We are seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Technical Trainer with expertise in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems.The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging, effective, and technical training to both internal teams and external clients on CRM software and best practices. You will work closely with product and support teams to develop training materials, troubleshoot system issues, and ensure a seamless learning experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Training Delivery: Conduct technical training sessions for employees, clients, and end-users, focusing on CRM systems' functionality, features, and workflows. Utilize various training methods, including live sessions, webinars, e-learning platforms, and hands-on exercises.

  • Curriculum Development: Create, update, and maintain comprehensive training materials, including user guides, quick reference guides, video tutorials, and presentation decks. Ensure content is clear, concise, and tailored to the audience's needs.

  • Needs Assessment: Collaborate with stakeholders to assess training needs, identify knowledge gaps, and design customized training programs that enhance CRM system adoption and usage.

  • CRM System Expertise: Serve as the subject matter expert on the CRM platform, providing technical guidance and answering questions related to system functionalities, configurations, and integrations.

  • Onboarding Support: Facilitate onboarding sessions for new users, guiding them through the CRM system's setup and functionalities to ensure successful adoption and utilization.

  • Troubleshooting & Support: Assist users in resolving common CRM issues, including data entry errors, system configurations, and reporting discrepancies, providing troubleshooting guidance and support when necessary.

  • Performance Evaluation: Assess the effectiveness of training programs through feedback, surveys, and performance metrics, and make recommendations for improvement to ensure continuous learning and system optimization.

  • Collaboration & Feedback: Work closely with cross-functional teams (Product, IT, Support) to stay up to date on CRM system updates, new features, and release notes. Incorporate new functionalities into training programs as needed.

  • User Documentation: Develop and maintain clear and user-friendly documentation for CRM processes, system configurations, and advanced troubleshooting techniques to ensure ongoing user support.

Qualifications:

  • Travel: Must be comfortable with travel to Indiana and Michigan locations. Job will require 60% travel in first year. 15% will be overnight travel
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Education, or a related field

  • Experience:

    • 3+ years of experience in training, particularly with CRM systems (Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics, HubSpot, etc.).
    • Proven experience in delivering technical training, with a deep understanding of CRM systems' functionalities, integrations, and user interfaces.
  • Technical Skills:

    • Proficiency in CRM platforms and common business software applications.
    • Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and guide users through solutions.
    • Strong understanding of CRM database architecture, configuration, and reporting.
  • Communication Skills:

    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Ability to translate complex technical information into understandable language for non-technical users.
  • Training Skills:

    • Strong presentation, facilitation, and instructional design skills.
    • Experience with eLearning software, Learning Management Systems (LMS), and blended learning approaches.
  • Certifications: CRM certifications (e.g., Salesforce Certified Administrator, Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Fundamentals) are a plus.

  • the individual's skill sets, experience and training;
  • licensure and certification requirements;
  • office location and other geographic considerations;
  • other business and organizational needs.

With that said, as required by local law, Vaco believes that the following salary range referenced above reasonably estimates the base compensation for an individual hired into this position in geographies that require salary range disclosure. The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
