Summary of Position

Under the general directions of the Shipping Logistics Supervisor, the Shipping and Receiving Technician II is responsible for activities supporting the Operations teams' goal and objectives. Typical daily activities include documentation of all incoming materials receipts, and all outgoing shipments via data entry records in the ERP system. The Shipping and Receiving Technician II reviews, confirms, and verifies material receipts to open purchase orders, and packing lists. Labels and distributes materials to appropriate departments. Packages and arranges transit of finished goods to customer locations. Conducts all necessary inventory transactions within the ERP. Arranges and organizes materials to allow for efficient FIFO protocols. Assist Material Control in regularly scheduled inventory control procedures to assure inventory integrity.

The Shipping/Receiving Technician is based at our facility in Goleta, CA. This is not a remote position.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Promotes and nurtures company culture, policies, and guidelines.
  • Performs transactional data entry within the ERP database to maintain inventory records and accuracy.
  • Manages and organizes workflow to ensure completion of daily task list and assignments.
  • Follows manufacturing instructions in completing daily tasks to ensure uniformity and integrity of performance objectives.
  • Assists Material Control in the kitting of manufacturing orders.
  • Collaborates and communicates daily with all Operations team functions.
  • Contributes to maintaining clean and efficient workplace.
  • Maintain and control of all shipping and receiving consumable inventory.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications Expected for Position

  • High school diploma/GED and 2-3 years of similar or related work experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • 2+ years of relevant work experience with a combination of strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to remain focused and meet daily goals and objectives within a fast-paced, dynamic manufacturing environment.
  • Experience with data entry/maintenance within an ERP platform.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask and change objectives with little to no notice.
  • Be a results-driven team player and strong advocate for team-based success.
  • Able to interact well with internal associates at multiple levels across multiple lines of Operational functions.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office software.
  • California driver's license.
  • Forklift operations license (desired)
  • Flexibility for some non-overnight short haul travel.

Travel: 10%

Travel percentage reflects an estimate and is subject to change dependent on business needs.

The base salary range for this position is $22.00-$26.00 per hour, based on experience. In addition to a base salary, this position is eligible for a performance bonus and benefits (subject to eligibility requirements) listed here: Teladoc Health Benefits 2025. Total compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to, type of position, location, education level, work experience, and certifications. This information is applicable for all full-time positions.
