Job Objective:
Multi-skilled position responsible for oil & gas measurement and electrical maintenance and repairs.

Essential Job Responsibilities:

  • Perform dew point and H2S concentration tests.
  • Gather gas samples and maintain gas sampling systems, collect, and deliver to gas lab.
  • Operate appropriate PC software packages (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Perform meter downloads and retrieve EFM configuration. Installation, programming, calibration, and maintenance of EFM Flow computers.
  • Retrieve and analyze ultrasonic meter diagnostic logs, repair and replace components. Inspect, clean, and replace meter transducers.
  • Perform EFM, meter point-to-point verifications with control room.
  • Monthly oil meter proving. Create, review, and document meter curve reports.
  • Verify meter compliance with the State and BLM, provide notifications, and required reports timely.
  • Perform BS&W witnessing and testing, perform prover water draws.
  • A high degree of experience in troubleshooting various types of electrical circuits.
  • Strong working knowledge of DC systems (24 to 125 VDC).
  • Strong working knowledge of AC systems in low and medium voltage systems.
  • Experience reading electrical drawings and schematics used in troubleshooting and basic maintenance.
  • Experience switching, racking, and maintaining circuit breakers in low and medium voltage systems.
  • Ability to become familiar with back-up power generation, outage response and maintenance.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and maintain UPS systems.
  • Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and calibrate transmitters and switches
  • Install, maintain, and troubleshoot PLC's and related equipment (SCADA systems)
  • Maintain regulatory records and documentation & maintaining PM's and WO in maintenance program.
  • Project planning, management, and cost tracking.
  • Provide electrical and measurement support within operations projects
  • Inspect, maintain, and troubleshoot pumps, motors, VFD's and associated control systems.

Qualifications:

  • Seven (7) years minimum experience preferred in the measurement field.
  • Seven (7) years minimum experience preferred in the electrical field as a Journeyman.
  • Required: Alaska Electrical Journeyman's license (Alaska Electrical Journeyman's Certification of Fitness)
  • Have working knowledge of industry best practices and API recommendations.
  • Experience with oil and gas pipeline systems and equipment.
  • Ability to understand and interpret equipment manuals, drawings, P&ID's.
  • Ability to complete multiple, diverse tasks of differing priorities.

Education Requirements:

  • Work requires an educational background normally acquired through a high school education with course work in skilled crafts, or an equivalent combination of relevant education and/or experience.
  • Expectation to continue education by obtaining special training to keep current on best practices, new regulations, new technology and licensing.
  • Adheres to all Harvest safety standards, permitting, and oversight of jobs

Certifications, Licenses, Registrations:

  • Current AK Driver's license
  • Required: Alaska Electrical Journeyman's license (Alaska Electrical Journeyman's Certification of Fitness)
