About the role

Quantum Health is seeking a talented Design Manager who is responsible for leading and managing a team of designers, as well as creative output across a range of projects, including but not limited to: collateral, web design, paid media creative, video editing, animation, email and branding. This role requires a creative-minded individual with a servant leadership mentality who is passionate about inspiring others to create beautiful designs with final attention to detail. The Design Manager will work closely with production artists, copywriters, project managers, sales, product marketing, and external agency partners.

What you'll do

* Collaborate with internal business partners, other in-house creative team members and external agency partners to ensure designs succeed and produce business results.

* Meet with senior leadership, synthesize project specifications and translate requests into impactful designs.

* Create and lead a team of designers to produce high quality creative work from ideation phase to completion using established elements of design, including typography, layout, and balance - assisting g with project management and addressing stakeholder needs and feedback throughout the process to ensure success of each creative deliverable.

* Develop, maintain and extend brand and style guidelines, whilst ensuring a cohesive system.

* Identify and implement process improvements to contribute to efficient and effective designs and implementation of brand standards across all channels.

* All other duties as assigned.

What you'll bring

* Education: Bachelor's degree in graphic design, visual arts or other relevant fields or relevant experience

* Prior experience managing direct reports and/or contractors (design capacity)

* Expertise in design tools (ex. Adobe, Creative Suite, etc.), with additional expertise in digital technology (ex. HTML, CSS, UI design).

* Proven track record of successful campaigns and strong team collaboration

* Proficient in Figma and the Adobe Creative Suite

* Experience developing and maintaining design systems

* Experience designing presentations (Google slides, Keynote, PPT)

* Experience in communicating conceptual ideas and design rationale to key stakeholders and cross-departmental team members

* Excellent verbal, visual, and written communication skills

* Ability to lead others in a fast-paced environment with fine attention to detail and a professional demeanor, successfully prioritize a high-volume workload, and produce consistent, high-quality work

* Ability to turn data-driven insights into impactful brand story-telling and effective creative

* Comfortable presenting concepts and work to senior leadership members and all levels of organization

* Consistent, high-quality work

* Protect and take care of our company and member's data every day by committing to work within our company ethics and policies

* Strong administrative/technical skills; Comfort working on a PC using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), IM/video conferencing (Teams & Zoom), and telephones efficiently.
