Your Role

Are you a driven sales professional with a background in Mechanical Engineering? We are looking for an Aftermarket Account Manager to join our team and promote the sale of Aftermarket Parts, Service, Component Repairs, and Advanced Services for all Atlas Copco Gas and Process product lines within North America.

As an Aftermarket Account Manager, your main mission will be to apply the current strategy and develop new concepts to drive sales. You will work to maximize order intake by maintaining constant contact and frequent visits with customers to ensure growth and sustainability targets are achieved. A key focus will be on loading the North America Service Center with all GAP product line repair and service work. As part of the Aftermarket Sales team, you will report to the North America Sales Manager and work closely with Gas and Process entities located globally. This is a remote position to be located in the Southeast United States including TN, MS, AL, GA, SC, LA, NC, and FL.

As an Aftermarket Account Manager:



  • You will develop and implement strategies to promote Aftermarket Parts, Service, Component Repairs, and Advanced Services to existing customers.
  • You will maintain regular contact with customers to build and sustain customer relationships.
  • You will identify and pursue new business opportunities to achieve sales targets.
  • You will document CRM data for reporting sales performance and strategy development.
  • You will collaborate with product companies to reduce response time, maximize customer satisfaction, and develop new products or services based on market intelligence.
  • You will provide technical support and expertise to customers in regard to service planning, maintenance best practices, parts inventory management, equipment efficiency, breakdowns, contract negotiations, and business needs.
  • You will prepare, deliver, and follow up on sales proposals to customers to secure order intake.
  • You will contribute to the regional market development strategy and explore new business opportunities.





To succeed, you will need



  • A Bachelor's of Science in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent work experience with strong mechanical aptitude.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, self-starter attitude, and drive for success.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain customer relationships.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, specifically, Word, Excel, and Powerpoint.
  • Effective presentation and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong planning, time management, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to travel within the territory up to 70%.
