The Rehabilitation Services Representative performs a wide variety of skilled and complex clerical functions using a computer and the Hospital Information System. Greets and interviews patients to collect appropriate data. Creates patient records and/or enters orders into the computer. Receives visitors and telephone call, refers to appropriate staff. Sets up patient appointments; prepares patient folders for clinicians; billing and receiving patients for services; prepares cash disbursements; and overseeing office and equipment maintenance.

Work Location: Washington D.C.

Full time Days 8am-4:30pm

MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

1. High school graduate or equivalent.
2. Previous work experience in a health care setting to include rehabilitation terminology and insurance requirements preferred or any combination of education and experience to provide the required knowledge, skill and ability.
3. Must be certified in CPR or obtain certification within 30 days of employment.

Salary Range: Minimum 20.10 per hour - Maximum 33.16 per hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.

In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
