As a Correctional Industries Manager 2, you will have a wide range of responsibilities and duties. You will be responsible for planning, organizing, and directing the overall operations of the correctional industries at SCI Cambridge Springs, SCI Fayette, and SCI Greene. You will have the important task of setting priorities, goals, and objectives, and communicating them to your team. Your work will involve determining staffing needs and priorities based on the established goals and objectives. You will also be responsible for managing the annual budget and developing and implementing work processes and procedures. Additionally, you will be in charge of organizing and conducting training programs for staff and inmate workers to ensure they are properly oriented and trained for their roles. Work Schedule and Additional Information:

• Full-time employment, 37.5 hours per week
• Work hours are 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
• Travel is required
• This position is eligible for full retirement benefits at age 50 or 55.
• Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable. Selected candidates who are new to employment with the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will begin employment at the starting annual salary of $67,433.00 (before taxes).

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

• One year of experience as a Correctional Industries Manager 1; or
• Seven years of progressively responsible experience in a manufacturing or a service oriented production operation, including three years of supervisory experience; or
• A Master's Degree with major course work in industrial engineering, business administration, public administration, vocational education, industrial education, or related area and two years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing or a service oriented production operation; or
• An equivalent combination of experience and training, including three years supervisory experience in a manufacturing or a service oriented production operation. Formal study at a college or university with major course work in industrial engineering, business administration, public administration, vocational education, industrial education, or related training may be substituted for non-supervisory experience on a year-for- year basis to a maximum of four years.

Other Requirements:

• Successful completion of basic training in Elizabethtown, PA is required.
